It happens to a lot of people. Maybe getting stuck on a level, or it was just to boring to keep playing.

i swear its thats how 90% of my games end up -___-
then i get to the point where i dont pick em back up and trade them in for something else that i dont finish
Mhh yeah:
Shellshock 2 (pain in the a**)
A Baja Game (boring)
Call of duty 3 (I played the ps2 version a couple of times out but the xbox version made me bored dunno why)
Sega superstar tennis....
Forza 3 (still playing somethimes :p)
Saints row 1
Crackdown (Hard)
Condemned 2 (Still playing, stuck)
Tekken 6 (dunno if it ever ends so...)
Halo Wars
Mass effect 2 (Toughtthe first one was better, maybe I will retry it.)
Dragon age origins (Too hard for me :P, suck in RPG)
Dead Space
NFS HP
Darkness (stuck somewere)
Borderlands (Online co-op with random persons laggs, most of my friends stopped playing it, was boring alone after a while.)
Prey (Stuck somewere)
Obilivion (I suck in RPG like I said)
Ghost Recon AW2
Splinter Cell DA
Far Cry 2 (only playing multiplayer on it.)
Operation Flashpoint DR (No co-op mates, sp s*cks)
Jericho (Saw some people recomending it here on GS, tried the demo and loved it, when I bought it and played it it s*cked.)
Timeshift
Naughty Bear (allmost at the end)
Riddick game
Army of Two
Perfect dark arcade (not my thing)
Resident evil code veronica x hd (still playing)
Serious sam HD (still playing, gets boring after a while)
Looks alot but I played all the other 66 games out.
Mhhhh I see that I need to play plenty of games out now that I made this list...
I do this a lot xD. I buy too many games, then I end up playing one of them, and starting another game, and forgetting about it :/
Bayonetta is one of them
I haven't completed most of my 90 PS1 games and I have yet to bet Sonic Heros and the Revenge of the Sith game even though I've had thme since 2005. Also I am a big Sonic fna but I'm not going to lie I've never beat the first Sonic game.
I stop playing when the game gets boring, disappoints me or makes me feel like im forcing myself to continue. Some examples were Star Wars Unleashed (I got bored and irritated with the controls before finishing the first level) and Halo 2 ( game froze on me and didnt enjoy playing it all that much). Honestly if the game isnt fun I put it down.
I very strongly try to finish everything.
A major one I haven't completed yet is Oblivion, and I'm forcing myself to play it.
fallout 3. good game with a great setting, but i just couldn't get into it. usually, i finish games, but for some reason, i never got into fallout.
all the time, i get far to easily distracted by new releases!
i do usually finish things eventually though, if a game hooks me from the start then chances are i wont get distracted from it, but if the game doesnt hook me straight away then i do get easily distracted by something else, even if the original game i was playing was actually good
i will always go back to it eventually though, next time there are no new releases im wanting i will be finishing off Dead Space 2 for example, its been sitting on the shelf waiting to be finished for far to long now!
it sometimes happens if a new exciting game comes out you drop everything to play it, i picked up Dead space 2 pretty late and i got maybe a quarter of the way through but then Gears 3 had just come out so... you can see how this story ends.NerdBromsalmost all of my games end up like that, especially when crysis 2 came up
i complete 99% of the games I start even if they are terrible but there are a few games that where so bad I just couldnt finish them, and the first one that comes to mind is Battlefield 3's single player, got about 30 minutes in, died during a firefight and it loaded like halfway through the level so I had to go through 10 minutes of walking and talking to get back to the firefight so i just quit, can't stand when dumb developers put checkpoints BEFORE a long sequence of talking or having to follow people at a crawling pace.
yup:
Oblivion - got bored and gave up once Skyrim came out
Venetica - glitchy and boring
Jet Force Gemini - could never get all the tribals
Dragon Age Origins: Awakening - forgot i had it, need to pick it up again
Read Dead Redemption - got bored
Final Fantasy 13 - too frustrating and wasnt a fan of the combat
Lemme think for a bit....
GTA IV I've been playing for two and a bit years and still haven't completed (it's too fun to do all the campaign missions. Every time I pick it up I just like messing around). I will definitely complete it before GTA V is out hopefully.
I never completed the final boss of Bioshock because I barely had enough ADAM and money left to buy ammo
I also never completed the final mission of Just Cause 1 (on the old Xbox), mainly because it was too hard and I gave up.
The only other game I've not manage to fully complete single player wise is Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, again because the final few races/hot pursuits are too long and time-consuming to bother retrying over and over again.
Other than that I'm usually pretty good at seeing games through all the way to the end.
yea the dragon age games
and the mass effect games
dragon age.....i request my time back
mass effect is good but just havent gotten around to beating them
Quite a few actually. The latest ones were Condemned 2 and Warhammer: BattleMarch. I sold Condemned 2 awhile ago and just haven't picked up Warhammer again. I have too many other games I want to play.
