Deadrising is Frustrating :(

well yesterday i bought deadrising cause i needed a new game and i was pretty happy with the demo...well i was having fun until i came to carlito...took a while for me to beat, i finally did beat him then i was enjoying the game again XD...well anyways i start doing side missions(i think that wat they are called) anyways i do the mission where i take pics of sum photographer...then i go outside and run into the 3 convicts on the hummer...get pwned...

i end up doing the photographer thing again the go outside and avoid the 3 stooges and grab the girl and book it...well i try killing the majority of the zombies to keep her safe only to find myself getting more damaged then die...

i haven't played since then but was wondering if u guys had any advise to help me through this game...cause if i don't get into it im prolly gonna trade it in :/ which is just a waist of my money....well thanks in advance.

lol, you're trying to ruin his experience. frustrating it is, at first. once he gets the hang of it, he'll appreciate why it was frustating... and have a triple booked chainsaw. :D

Triple booked chainsaw will solve any and all problems, but untill you can get your hands on the books and the saw to handle your problem, once you kill off carlito fallow Brad, into Al Fresca Plaza (the one you go itno right after you 86 Carlito) there you'll find a submachine gun in the fountain, continue fallowin brad then head back out the way you started from through the food court, once the convicts attack shoot the gunner once he's in range then run over to the jeep quickly to the back where the gunner was press B to grab the machine gun then turn it on the other cons, the either drop or empty the gun, grab the girl, hop in the jeep, then hightail it to the door for Paradise Plaza. You'll actually get an achievement for jackin their ride.

Alternatively if you go up the stairs to where you first met kent on the landing before the last section of stairs to get upstairs turn to the right and then jump towards the blue shelf thin there then just keep walking arund and jumping from landing to landing, and once you get past the stuffed bear and the OJ, the next landing has a sub machine gun on it.

Dead risings just one of those games that get easier the more you play it.kekejefferis

The truest thing ever writ.

I hated that game for the first few days of playing it.  Zombies killed me every few minutes.  My favorite weapon was the sledgehammer because it actually killed with one shot, unlike every other weapon.  I couldn't figure out how to guide survivors to the security room.  I couldn't shoot to save my life; so I died all the time.  The first three times I faced the convicts in the park I died so quickly I was SURE there was something wrong with this game.

But after you've died and started over a few times and you get 6-8 blocks of health and you're finding shotguns and submachine guns, the game gets much better and much more fun.  By the time you max out your level, it's still fun because hostages still die, Frank can still be killed, and it's almost impossible to get some of the tougher achievements, like Saint.

Good luck on Zombie Genocide.  I got it, but I think I lost a few IQ points in the process.

You don't want to be frustrated? Start the game, go the entrence to the maintaince tunnel. Take a car. Drivie into tunel. Turn left, then left and again left (you can't miss it:P) There will be a dead end with zombies and a van. Take the van, drive back, take the car, drive back, take van, repeat for 2 hours.  You will unlock zombie genocider, you will have lvl 45. Wait for the end of the game. Star a new game. You will be almost like immortal:P

As for the convicts: At the begining of the game go to north plaza->gunshop. Take a sniper rifle. When the convicts first occur jump on a little wooden building with a red roof. Convict's jeep will be stucked on a tree. Snipe them out. Pice of cake:)
