All that negative new about Sony you have been reading is not bias. It is reality.
Pretty shocking that it scored that, I was expecting a little higher, its not perfect but I thought the demo was pretty cool, technically better than the Saints Row Demo anyway, damn Saints Row was a technical mess:P.
OXM in the UK gave it a 9, big difference in opinions of the reveiwers, especially from the same magazine. Well hopefully the guy in the UK is right :)Bristar
I agree! Plus, if you like that type of game you could play it for hours and not get bored especially with a buddy. I love the demo and it never gets old kicking cars and jumping from roof to roof. I am buying the game regardless of reviews or the Halo 3 beta (it's just a plus). I can't wait for this game!

I'll be getting the mag soon so I'll be able to verify that score. OXM has given out plenty of 7's before so I don't know why this would surprise anybody. Also, their preview of the game wasn't exactly glowing.
It's just another reminder that people's opinions are subjective, and therefore not entirely reliable. I can remember several games that got bad reviews that I enjoyed, and just as many games that received critical praise that I disliked. The thing that concerns me is that OXM typically gives games incrediblly generous scores. A 7 from OXM may mean a 5 elsewhere. Nevertheless I am going to get it. I love GTA sandbox-style games, and I like the style of the game and the mild RPG elements.

He is a Halo addict and comes across as a snob sometimes in his reviews. I believe they are being overly picky in the review. I don't care what they say, I'm stil getting it. It was one of the only demos I've played over and over without getting boring. Ton's of stuff to do. I think Ryan has played too much GTA and is mistaken on this one
All I can say is they gave Prey a 9.0 and I would have given t a 6.6
i refuse to buy it just because a lot of ppl are getting it for the halo 3 beta... that's a cheap trick by microsoft to get people to buy this game... genius idea, but cheap all the same
