After I completed Bioshock I could not return to the world to complete the other achievments. But you could always play the game again. I am sure that you will find all of the audio diary things if you play 2 times through. The ones that you already have gotten will still count and the new ones will just add to the others you have collected....
I am pretty sure once you finished the game, it is done. I believe that right before you enter the final boss battle is your last chance to collect any missing items.
All you have to do is save before you go up and fight *the last guy* Go ahead, fight him, beat him, and then load up the save and continue exploring.BrolyB593
that's probably the best way to continue playing, but then again most people just start new game to get different endings.
