Confused about the power options.

Hi everyone. I have just recently bought an xbox one s, however turning the console completey off is turning into a headache.

I no in instant on mode the console is in just a standby mode, however i have mine set to energy saver. The problem i find is that when i hold the button on the controller and select turn off, the console still ocassionally spins the disk drive or it's fans as if it isn't completely off, which i thought is what energy saver mode is for.

At the minute i am just going into settings and selecting full shutdown. Is that really the way i have to do it everytime i turn the console off.

The fan will turn on until the console has cooled down enough, once cooled the fan turns off, may be a few seconds or even a minute.
