Condemned still worth it?

Besides gtaiv, i havent bought a 360 game in a while.. i wanna get a game that i may have missed out on and was wondering if Condemned was still a great game, even though its a bit older or should i just skip to condemned 2. If you have any other game suggestion let me know.

Yeah do it, the first is like $15 and the second is $30 still cheaper than one brand new game.

The first Condemned offered a lot of genuinely spooky, jump out of your seat, truly creep you out moments. Bloodshot watered the experience down to a standard FPS feel (because of the heavy focus on gunplay this time around), not a FPA (first person adventure) like the first one was. I liked how much more robust the melee combat is in the second game, but still you never feel "hunted" like you did in the first game.

Plus you can find Condemned for less then $15 new at most stores, which is a bargain! Bloodshot is pretty cheap as well. I think it was $29 or $39 at Gamestop when I last checked. You could buy both for the price of one new game too.

I picked up the first Condemned at Gamestop for $20 (new) about three months ago and it was well worth it.

The game is one of the few truly frightening games on the market these days. By this I mean the atmosphere itself will creep you out just as much as the "BOO!!!" scares will.

Both Condemned games are really good.

think of it like this:

Condemned 1: More scares, less guns, the "CSI" elements are too basic.

Condemned 2: Less scares, more guns, AWESOME INVESTIGATION/CSI STUFF

Yes it is, i just grabbed it a few days ago new for $20. Great game so far, atmosphere is the main thing in this game, very few corridors have any source of light whatsoever and all you have is a tiny flashlight so it definately will scare you. The melee combat is amazing and bloody, you actually feel great as you beat the stupid out of some homeless guy with a bit of pipe, and teeth actually will fly out among clouds of blood........i thought that was cool. The games difficulty is just right, enemies are smart and will block or parry your attacks. Their own attacks are also timed very well, and they will kick the crap out of ya if you get careless. The enemies are also smart enough to get the hell out of there if you beat them up enough, they'll run away, hide behind something in the environment and try to get the jump on you again. Really, my only complaint with the game is that when you get a gun, the shooting is horrible. Sure, you feel alot safer with a 12 gauge resting in your hands, but in all actuality, youre better off with a pipe or something.

CONDEMNED 2 HAS THE SCARIEST VIDEO GAME COMMERCIAL. sorry thats all i know. D=
