All you really have to do is figure out what works for you, if you're new then you're going to get destroyed, that's how it goes. I personally use a G36C at any chance that I get. Also, the M16 is a great gun to use even if you are 55 with 10th Prestige. I use that thing with an ACOG and my god does that thing obliterate!
Sorry for the double poste, but also just keep playing, you'll get better. And DON'T use the noob tube. That is a sure way to get flamed from here to Africa. Plus it's just pathetic.
I started w/ the heavy machine gun. Lots of ammo and pretty powerful. Bad thing is aiming. A lot of kick. I usually try to pair up with somebody during a game. Little protection never hurts. Best advice is to keep playing, learn the levels and determine which gun suits you best.
