I really do think that instead of Modern Warfare 2 they shouldm make COD: Future Warfare that has some really crazy sci-fi guns like Quake 4 and Unreal Tournament!
no, i would hate to see sci fi laser guns and robots in call of duty, let unreal and quake do that crap, modern warfare 2 is by far the better choice. i just hope it's set in America, now that would be awesome.
I completely disagree. Luckily Modern Warfare 2 was already announced. I would be very sad if CoD ever detached itself from reality beyond having a ficticious story.
i can see where you're coming from, but we have Halo, GOW...there's a massive genre now on future warfare, and CoD is about the realistic warfare, that's its classification
Future warfare might be cool. All they have to do is keep everything the same without changing the gameplay or the way the game is played. Just make the environments look futuristic, have futuristic weapons like laser rifles, plasma snipers, etc. It can work. What do others think about fighting against a alien race?

I wouldn't mind so much, as long as they kept it halfway believable. I think that is one of the biggest appeals of the CoD games, the realistic aspect of them.
