treyarch wasnt making it. seriously, if its WW2, then just add shooting threw walls,destructible buildings and gameplay that of COD4 and it can be great. plus shooting WW2 weapons is almost a little funner
Its been said thousands of times already. We know COD5 is going to suck. We are tired of the past. Even if Infinity war is making the game, if I see WWII I wont buy it.
Modern weapons are about 10x more fun to use than WW2 weapons in a video game..usaaaaaa

Modern weapons are way to advanced for me and i really like how simple the WW2 weapons were. Hell id go for swords and bows because that's how simple i want it.
Though a war game with swords and bows made by treyarch in the Call of duty style? Would never work.

I'll never understand why they're taking the World War II direction again. When I see a World War game, it's depressing, to say the least. And I hope Infinity Ward or whoever is making the game, are reading these posts, generated by fans. Why release a game more than 50% of the fans dont want. If it's World War II, I wont buy it. Not because I'm being a spoiled brat, I've played enough of these type of games, like Medal of Honor for example. Not only have I seen the beaches of Normandy so many times to count, in movies and video games. WWI or WWII, whatever, just dont make anymore of those. Let's keep the modern warfare moving!

Ww2 still works, what really sucks is that it's the same battles over and over. Add some variety to it and it'll be alive again. There WERE other countries involved other than Usa and germany u know, that's why it was called WORLD WAR.

I agree, why would they re-invent the COD franchise one year, then go back to basics the next? I'm down for shooters of the past, but I'm getting tired of living in the past when the same generation keeps circulating every year with minimal changes.

Only reason they are releasing CoD5 through them is to give Infinity Ward the time to make a new game (CoD6). It is a direction Activision is taking to release a quality hit every two years. You guys need to learn that there is no way in hell they will release a game that is on par with CoD4 in one year, that is stupid to think. So they are going to simply release another rehash to the original CoD and make a modern combat shooter do out in another 2 years or so.

I agree... I wish IW was making it. Also I wish they would add co-op to it also. There's nothing wrong with doing a COD 5 Modern Warfare Continued.... I mean dang... hasn't WWII been done enough? How about Vietnam or something? Anything but WWII!!!
