I really do think so. It's bringing something new to the series, unlike Halo 3. Its perks are awesome and it looks astounding. It, Assassins Creed, GTA 4, and UT3 are my most anticipated of this fall. I lost interest in Bioshock.

Not to get in a fight but it just really didnt interest me. I mean im sure when it comes out ill rent or buy it but i mean i just watched the trailer from e3 and it didnt really hold my attention. Now i gotta admit im not really into the modern warfare but I dont know dont see what all the fuss is about really. It will be good I guess like i said im just not really into modern combat. But i do know infinity ward will make an awesome game. Well just have to see how it plays out.

I dont completely understand what your saying but like i said im more into ww2 shooters cod2 is the best i have every played! and i like futuristic or horror based shooters. For instance i played the demo of rainbow six vegas and really could have cared less. I knew it was a great game but the modern day warfare isnt epic enough i guess.

It also adds perks, penetration, along with a sort of RPG aspect (well, related to the perks I guess) and, well, it's just going to be cool.
For me CoD4 is my most anticipated, followed by UT3, then Halo 3.
Between Crysis, Halo 3, UT3, and Bioshock there is no way COD4 is going to be better than all of them. In my opinion, COD4 isn't even in the same league.
Now, I'm not bias against Cod or anything. I own all 4 installments of the game (Cod2 on both 360 and Pc) but the series simply isn't even in the same league with the huge shooters out there. It may be better then some of them but it will never be better than all of them.
