Hey guys can you recommend me the most fun co op games But separate which ones are better for online co op and ones better for same room co op At this stage the only mate I have who games is cheap & very unlikely to buy a game unless he gets really really addicted playing my copy. Most of my games are RPGs or one player based so getting a few games we can play together would be awesome Hopefully he will enjoy playing locally then go and buy his own copy Thanks

The Gears of War games are good for co-op, good gameplay etc and a good storyline to get into. Resident Evil 5 I thought was very good with a mate but I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea. The Left 4 Dead games are good for just picking up and playing and having fun if you're looking for something a little less serious. The Army of Two games are good in co-op too, although haven't played the latest one so can't comment on that. Majority of these should be able to be picked up pretty cheap now too :)
If you're wanting to go through the story of them then I'd recommend to start with the first one, if you're not fussed about the story then I'd go for Gears 3 as Horde mode I thought was very good and easier to play in small doses as well as having a good story to go through although I don't think you'd appreciate the story as much if you don't play the first 2 (but can't remember if the first 2 have Horde so don't want to say otherwise). If you just want a game to pick up and play though either of the Left 4 Deads are good. Hope this helps :)
Im interested in Gears, just not one of those guys ( nor is my mate who wants to play co op) who can play the same game for 10 hours straight.. especially when you keep dying in the same spot
if that happens i usualy throw the controller in frustration and go and bash on the drum kit to vent
rare i will go back to a game if i keep dying over and over and over... my interest level in it just goes completely
i like games that are VERY easy on easy.. then after completing that go back and try normal.. sometimes then going to hard
