Yep. I use the Ipod for custom soundtracks so I dont use up space on my HDD. It charges it too.

Anyone know if the 360's USB ports are weak in terms ofpower? My Nano charges while connected, but my girlfriend's 30GB Video does not charge - it plays back music fine through the 360's music player, but it simply runs off the battery while it's connected. Bizarre.

I use a powered ****** usb hub for my extra devices. Not sure but I would think this would help with the possible drain on the 360's power supply. By powered I mean the USB hub plugs into the wall as well as the 360. I use the usb in the back of the 360 for the hubs connection.

I searched around and it should work with a iPod Video. On Xbox.com there was a thread about iPods and Xbox 360 use and some people used a iPod Video and they say it charged perfectly.

So I guess there is just something weird with your girlfriends iPod or with your 360. Perhaps she has some settings on her iPod that make this happen?

Its fine, just remember your 360 fans stay on when you turn it off if something is in the USB port.
