I have played the demos for both of these games and both seem like really interesting games, but one seems like it would be more fun and the other more irritating after awhile.

I am kinda leaning towards Alice Madness Returns, but I am not sure. What do you think is the better game? Thanks.

Well I've never played Alice Madness Returns (I'd like to though) but I'm playing Catherine now, and while it's a good game, it can be a little irritating at times. IMO, some of the puzzles are a little too difficult.

Have not played the new Alice yet though i loved the original. I would highly recommend Catherine. The story and cut scenes are just awesome. The puzzles can be tough as the previous poster mentioned, but getting through them using new strategies is really satisfying.

Alice is a better game, although Catherine has a more interesting story and characters. Catherine's gameplay isn't very good, though, and of Alice I can say that the level design isn't great. Also, it's rare that I say this, but I think that Madness Returns is TOO LONG. The levels just drag on and on and you don't get enough new and interesting abilities to make up for that. I'd say go for Catherine. Being an EA game, Alice will probably drop in price a lot sooner, if it hasn't already.

I'd personally go with Catherine, though I enjoyed both games and would say either would be a good choice.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. It really comes down to puzzle game versus action game. Whatever genre you feel like playing will be your best choice.

I didn't like Alice one bit and cannot understand people who say it's awesome. I tried really hard but didn't enjoy it.

I liked the last boss though :P

I decided to get both games.

Alice Madness Returns for $29.99 on Xbox360, and Catherine for $29.99 on PS3.

Thanks for the help.
