yeah, i do it all the time. just as long as it's wmv, wav, or mp3 video it'll work fine. never tried hooking up an ipod to it. mov's won't work.

Actually you can, By using a Flash Drive, they're relativley cheap. Like $20 for a 1-2gig flash drive. But you'll need to convert them into a file that the 360 will recognize, just go to videora.com and download the 360 converter. You can also play music from your ipod, but I'm not too sure about videos.

Yea sorry about that has to be in a file Xbox recognizes , thanks
As long as its one of the supported formats, you can. I did it last night. You can also stream through your network via media center or via the 'videos' tab in the dashboard which works the best i find... and the obvious, off a dvd (burned or real).
The biggest limitation is the fileformats and codecs they support.
