I honestly think COD4 doesn't look that good. The shadows are jaggy andthe grass seems out of place, however the character modelsand the detail of thegraphicsis really good. But that good be because I have an SD TV.
And by the way, anyone with an HDTV, are there jaggy shadows in Call of Duty 4? I'm trying to see the difference between SD and HD for the 360, but can't find any comparison shots. A place to look is the shadowbehind the ladder leading to the training place on the first mission, F.N.G, in single-player.
Komea Elements of power has the best cartoon graphics, and very crisp textures. Very few textures on this game are blurry even up close.
Gears also for texture and shadowing.
I haven't played Mass Effect yet but it is on its way.
Bioshock and Halo for atmosphere. Halo lighting is very cool looking, especially in the first level. I wish You casted a shadow in Bioshock though. Great art in Bioshock as well.
I think AC has good atmosphere but I will need to play it first.
COD4 has good shadowing and ok textures. I don't think the game looks as good as Gears.
RB6 vegas has cool graphics, great to look at. I love the colorful casino levels and hotels.
Definitely BioShock,oh and how can you say that The Darkness has the best graphics, that game sucks.AENEMA_TOOLOGY
well, you'd probably like it more, if you were a fan of The Chronicals of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay
Please please... Darkness is ... Ok... BUT NEVER... NEVER!!! Compare it to Chronicals of Butcher Bay... How dare you... Btw i have played Darkness and beat it... Its OK... 7/10 but Butcher Bay runs rings around it... GT: Ir0n SoldierNicko2006
I never compared it. My point is that if you played riddick, you might like the darkness better than someone who never played riddick.
oblivion, that game blew me away when i first saw it
Other great games are gears, halo 3, call of duty 4 and bioshock
Perfect Dark zero??? LOL!!
Gears of War, Bioshock and The darkness for me, COD looked like a modern COD 2, nothing spectacular
Assassins Creed by ar. Each city is just breathtaking and just blows me away every time (on an HDTV ofcourse). Altair's movements were extremely fluid and did'nt look awkward at any point (even when climbing) and the citiesare all beautifully unique and have the most detailed textures i've probably ever seen in a console game.
