Beating Halo Reach On Legendary Solo

Hey guys. I'm in the middle of completing Halo Reach on Legendary by myself. It's freaking hard! I'm on Exodus, and I'm pretty sure I'm nearing the end. There are brutes EVERYWHERE! I'm at the part where I destroyed the two turrets, and the Covenant Dropship comes, and drops off MORE Covenant. I'm at wits end. Any tips for this and the future levels would be greatly appreciated. :D

yeah pretty much take your time and be conservative there is no rushing anything at least you will get through it if you take your time.There are harder parts along the way..trust me

I beat Reach on Legendary solo several weeks ago. Just take your time and go inch by inch. Make use of sniping weapons like the DMR and the Needle Rifle. Keep your distance from hard bad guys when possible.

I hate to sound cocky but agree Iwith this guy.

Take your time and use long range weapons when you can. Also use the armour abilities they do work against the A I. the best one I found was the invisibility, I took out a few annoying Elites using this tatic by creeping up behind them.

There is no quick way like I said take your time.

sorry to sound smug, but i found it surprisingly not as hard as i might have thought. this year i have been tackling a lot of games on hard mode, when i used to be content with normal levels....and have fodn them not as hard as i thought. just like everyone else, take ur time. dont be afraid to restart the entire level to get a better line through it.

You want my recommendation? The Plasma Pistol is your friend.

Make what you will of that, it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out. They're easy to come by for a reason.

oh eys, forgot about that. one full charge shot will kill any enemy shield!!!!!!!!!!

Always keep a plasma pistol and a dmr with you to take out elites and the rest of their grunts. Brutes are a different story and require you to either focus several shots on their head to remove the helmet, or just stick with a needler/needle rifle to take them out in a few shots. Those weapons work best on non-shielded opponents, so for a level like Exodus, those two will be your most powerful tool whenever you can find them.

I didn't find it to be that hard actually. It was one of the easiest games I've beaten on the hardest difficulty.
