I have lost most of my faith in Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 2. But I'm giving it one more shot, and hopefully Treyarch won't dissapoint me. So I'm going to be pre-ordering the Hardened edition, better not regret this. What is everyone else doing?

To be honest there really isn't to much to compete with black ops in the modern shooter area other than BBC2 but it will most likely feel out dated once black ops hits. I am going to pre order a regular copy of the game, the customization in the game looks great and I have always enjoyed the gameplay at least in COD the guns feel right i dunno what it is.
Im getting it .. i went playing some cod4 for a lil' after like 6 months of not touching my xbox and playing bfbc2 and gow2 for like 2 weeks and i felt like EW... but i'm pretty sure the new game is gonna make things up cause it's more ... modern xD i guess ?
I feel exactly the same. I am really hard pressed for deciding if I will even buy Black Ops. I have been really enjoying Bad Company 2, and I will continue to enjoy it. The audio is fantastic, and the game play is nice. I love Battlefield games, I tend to play em on PC, but sometimes both console and PC if my friends get em.
I'll be getting it after some reviews have been put out. It definitely won't be something that I'm going to be picking up on release day. I know my roommate is going to get it no matter what, so I'll probably play his and see how I feel about it.
I always say no but in the end I always buy it plus I never got to play the zombie mode in Waw. So yes I will buy it because I typically play them for about 200 hours before I get bored. I just hope there wont be a lot of hackers or glitchers this time around.

yeah im going to get it but probably not right when it comes out though, because i have alot of other games to play but eventually ill definetly pick it up.
I probably will be, i'm a sucker for just buying the newest thing out. Along with LOADS of other games, cause i'm cool like that. Really want the new Guitar Hero and Fable III. Makes it more annoying when you've got no friggin' money to buy stuffs though =[ (First post! w00t!)
yeah im getting it in hopes that the multiplayer will be more balanced and less frustrating than mw2. the first MW was the best online multiplayer to me, and i really liked mw2 at first, but once all the boosters, commando pro users. dual 1887 shotgun users, etc. started to ruin it, it became way too frustrating to enjoy.
I'm getting it day one, I love MW2 despite the flaws, and since Treyarch cares about the community, they should fix the problems that are there, if any, they have already said it will be nearly impossible to cheat at. I'm also a huge history buff and love the time period, even if the story is completely fictional, the ideas they have about what could have gone on could be very interesting.
I love Call of Duty and I'm anxiously awaiting Black Ops. I play a game largely for the single player campaign, so it's not much of a shock to me if the multiplayer sucks.
Already pre-ordered 2 copies, one for me and one for my son. the customization looks really cool, and besides. call of duty is just flat out fun to play. even MW2.
It's unlikely as I will have too many other things on my mind at time of release and until February, but I'll see what people say about it in 3 months time.
Am i getting black ops, hell yea, mostly because halo reach hasn't been fulfilling my gaming needs, seeing as i have been going back to playing modern warfare 2 with my friend. And the customization and new additions are very promising.
