Am I the only one that thinks that Halo3 is getting a little boring?

I got my 360 Elite for christmas and Halo 3 was my first game. I didn't get live until like 3 to 4 months later. Live was awesome for a while but then it got boring to play. Don't get me wrong it's a good game, but there's other great games out there like COD4, Gears Of War, and many others.

I enjoyed Halo 3, though I don't play it much anymore. Any game gets boring after a while. Doom was a great game too, but I don't spend a lof time playing it these days.Palantas

And you think it's boring?

You've been playing the same game for over half a calender year. Go get something else

This is why they make new games. So you play one game for a while and have fun with it and WHAMMO new game to your house.

Thank you. :) If the gaming industry could produce the perfect game, they wouldn't want to. Everyone would just play that game, and never need to buy any more. Yeah, I know that's pretty silly; it's just a thought experiment.

Gaming is a rapidly advancing art form, which I think is great. If a great game from a decade ago (we'll say Unreal) came out today, it would be critically panned and immediately forgotten. I think that to get the most from your gaming experience, you have to continually play new games, as every once in a while one comes out that takes a genre in a new direction.

well in all honesty i think any game will eventually get boring to anyone.

especially if you're like me i get really bored with games. thats why i rotate, i can't play just one game

like i just went back to halo 3 just here recently and it's so fun but i havn't played it in 3 months

i always quit and go back to games so really i think there is no game that you can't "outplay"

Ooo, there's another reason not to make the perfect game: It would slowly kill off the human race, the same way Warcraft kills someone every so often.

Same here, I found the online dull and boring. Halo ce was a great game 2 and 3 were just average. IMO

I Bought the Legendary edition the day it came out. I played it till i beat it that same day, and ive never touched it since.

Yeah dude, I was actually bored with halo during halo 2, and then 3 comes out.....ehhhh.....good game, but nothing even remotely special.....halo is old news. And now the worst part about it is, their talkin Halo 4 as the launch game for the next gen console....seriously??? I really hope something else worthwhile launches with it.....:roll:Xero319

Thats actually the spot on score. Metacritic and gamerankings have an average of 95% for Halo 3.

I'm playing through the campaign again solo legendary.

I love the halo series.

you are bored of it, as well as i am, but, from past experience, halo is one of the few games you can keep going back to and having fun. play some other games or just go outside or something and come back in a few weeks or maybe months and it will feel like a new game
