Alan Wake for $40? Good Deal?

Ive been wanting to get this game for awhile but have been putting it off. I saw on gamestop's site that they are selling it for 40$ new. Is it worth it? What are some pros and cons i should know?

Yeah It's worth it. It's a great game. The only con I see is that it doesn't have that much reply value, but that's just my opinion. It would of been a lot better if they added co-op, that's another con. But yeah It's definitely worth it.

It's even cheaper on Amazon with free shipping and no tax. But the gamestop price is effective for in-stores as well.

I would say bad deal considering you could rent for a couple dollars. If you wanna own it though buy a used one from Gamestop. If it doesn't work they'll give you your money back.

Great game the first time around not so sure i would feel the same the second playthrough though.

The story is excellent but after you know the whole story the first time around then the second time it isnt as atmospheric or story driven.

The combat is good and fun at first but gets kind of repetitive and simple the more you shine a light at someone and then pop them with a handgun.

40 dollars is a fair price tag for the game i would say however. 35 dollars if you buy used.
