About the charge and play kit.... please help

I just bought an xbox online and im buying a bunch of accesories before it gets here.
My question.... I have a set of enegizer rechargable AA batteries. Do these work well with the 360 controller would anyone still recomend i get the charge kit? Thanks

Any batteries, rechargeable or not, should be fine with the controller.

I wouldn't recommend the Play & Charge kit (cable that plugs into the 360) - I have had three of these and I have found that the rechargeable batteries sometimes dont fit sungly into the controller as their casings are a bit loose - and this will stop the kit from charging it, rendering them useless. Get the standy-uppy Quick Charge kit if you can stretch to the extra few bucks - it seems to not mind shoddy rechargeable battey units so much. And it is quicker :)
