Yo, as of Nov 2006 all models manufactured since are "enhanced". At least sound wise. All 360's since no longer support the noisy Samsung/Toshiba Hitach drives. They now have a BenQ VAD6038 DVD drive under the hood. Heh a little late I think. Early Xbox 360 owners are gonna need different ways to keep that noise from ringing in their ears, while those who waited an entire year get nice quiet ones. Mind this, Microsoft kept this really quiet. The only way this was discovered was with the help of hackers. MS never revealed it themselves.

P.S. MS pretty much scrubbed the new "Zephyr" about a couple weeks ago. It said so in an interview with one of the MS execs at either IGN or on TV, forgot which.

people need to stop exagerating the 360 is not that loud and if it annoys you pump up the volume
