when you go online with a game like gears of war, halo 2, or rainbow six: vegas for multiplayer purposes, can more than one person go online cooperatively from the same console?

some games do allow guests to join.. can only do it in unranked matches and im not sure if both have to have a live account or not.

gears i duno, halo 2 yes, rainbow no :(, certain games allow you to but others dunt. i dunt see why they dunt do it for every game.
