well, i'm just putting this back up so more people can voice in their opinions.. i don't know why my first topic got locked up.. but o well.
XBOX is still kickin' it is just at a lul right now cause of 360 and the others that are going to be coming out soon.
it is in the middle. Even though MS is only making a few more games for it the of 3rd party developers will still put games on it.SSBMFighter
No system is dead yet, to my knowledge. I still buy Megadrive and Master Systems games, and just sold a load of Spectrum games.
And only last year there were new games for the Dreamcast, Neo Geo and Atari VCS.....
Just because it's no longer officially supported, or taking up all the shelf space in game, it doesn't mean that a system dies. As long as there are people playign it, it's fine. And I'm playing my Xbox as much as ever at the moment. Online gaming means I'm still racing hard in Forza, and coming to the end of shelf life means loads of great games at cheap prices.....At the moment I can't justify buying a 360 when I could buy another 10 games I missed on release for £100....
In fact my next purchases will probably be a cheap second hand PS2 as it's the only last-gen console I don't own, either a DS or a PSP, and hopefully a Vectrex when i find one at the right price....
Oh, and until they get emulation spot on, or Forza 2 arrives, there's no way my console is being relegated to my retro room to sit next to the Saturns, DCs, SNESs etc
Ok you can mourn the Xbox now. It's dead!Ms has given up on it no more being produced. They've moved on,and so should you.Look at Gamestops coming soon for Xbox compared to PS2 it has 3x's as much comming. You don't have to stop playing it.But, it is DEAD.So please no more fanboy denial.Â
