Which do you prefer? Wireless controllers, or wired controllers? I like the wired ones because all of the wireless ones i've tried have been lame.

I usually prefer the wired controlers. The major problem that I have with the wireless controlers are that they are sometimes unresponsive and make movement clunky. I suspose that if you get a good brand that this won't be a problem.

I prefer wired controllers. You don't need to be recharging batteries and wired controllers are somewhat unresponsive.

I would have to say wired for most games. Even the Logitech isnt as good as S for button sensitivity.

Wireless is very nice indeed and do use wireless controllers but like others said the responsiveness sometimes isn't what you get with the wired controller.  I think that's especially with a game like Ninja Gaiden Black where that responsiveness is very important and also speed.  But wireless is very nice, don't have to worry about the cable and being able to move how you want and not being limited to cable length.

Yeah thats what i'm saying. I wuse WL for RPGs and racers (triggers are fine) but the Logitech just doesnt cut it for my FPS, Action or fighting games. 360 WL controller works perfect though

When i first got my xbox 2 years ago i bought 2 wireless controllers with it and they were peices of crap. they broke within a couple months. So then i bought this funky looking logitech wireless controller and that lasted like an entire year but it was annoying (it would like, start going crazy just randomly) plus wireless controllers are annoying because you have to change batteries all the time and they are really sensitive. Wired>Wireless anyday.

I admit I have never used a wireless controller, but that's because having wires doesn't bother me at all and actually having a physical connection is going to be more reliable then a wireless controller will ever be and I don't want to have the fuss of using batteries. Maybe if I had a 360/PS3/Wii then I'd learn to appreciate wireless, but for Xbox I definately wouldn't even consider a wireless controller as there are no official wireless controllers.

I prefer wired controllers, being old-school. I haven't played with a very good Xbox wireless yet.

go wireless, theres no wires in your way, and you can walk around, or be on the couch 10 feet away from the big screen.

Wireless. I've been using a wireless one for a while now (a Joytech one, couldn't find any Logitech ones), and it's great. The only problem is you have to hit the X button hard for it to respond.

I strictly use Wired for the original Xbox.  But I do love all the other system's wireless options.  The Wavebird being the first truely great wireless controller.

If I had to pick, going cross platform here, I'd prefer the wireless controllers.

I'm not a big fighting game player so I dont have a arcade pad.
