Why wouldn't any game be worth buying now? Is Silent Hill for the PS1 and Super Mario 64 for the N64 worth buying now if you had the consoles? If you wanted a SNES would that be worth buying now?

If you want Fabe then play/rent/buy it. If you can get what you want then there is no expiration date.

Hell YES! I absolutly loved Fable, brilliant, briliant game.

If you plan on playing it through a 360, however expect a little lag (emulator doesn't support the game 100%)

If you get it cheap it's a real bargain. I borrowed the XB version and loved it, so I purchased the PC version (for tlc) and I played through 'till the end. It's one of the only games that I got kind of addicted to.

He is asking if Fable is worth buying now, not if it is worth buying full stop. My answer is the most logical answer he could have received. Just because a game's been out for a few years, does that mean that it's not worth buying today? Must we only buy new games that are just released?

When people ask silly questions like this then why not give them the cold hard truth?

Wow, now that's a shocker! :o If you like survival-horrors and you can manage to find the gem that is Silent Hill, you should pick it up because you'll probably like it. It's a pure classic for the PS1 just like the original Tomb Raider and MGS. It's quite a scary game though, so keep that in mind :)

Definitely. And while you're at it, go for The Lost Chapters version. More bang for your buck, and because it's in the C-l-a-s-s-i-c-s library, it could well be cheaper than the original.

I would say yes. Especially at the cheap price. Though it was shorter than the average action RPG, I thought it was fun game that had a decent storyline.
