it's a little glitchy and rather short but it's a great game still and is certainly worth getting...best to get the lost chapters rather than the original game as some of the glitches have been ironed out (though it's still quite glitchy) and there's extra content in it too...
I just bought Fable: The Lost Chapters recently, i am a few hours into the game and i think it's great so far. Both circuit city and best buy sell it for $10 right now so it's definitely worth picking up for that price regardless of the length of the game.
Yes but it's short so I recommend getting the expansion. It includes the original game with added content and quests. I bought it for a cheap 10 bucks. :D

yes you can get the expansion, the lost chapters for the xbox, it contains the entire game and extras basically so it's still only one disc to get
So how many hours would you say that it would take to complete the game in Fable The Lost Chapters? I'm only interested in the actual main quest.futagoza
if you're only gonna do the main storyline then probably not long at all..it's a very short game and even to do nearabouts all the sidequests it can take as little as 20hours to complete...you could probably do the entire main storyline in 2-3 days if you skipped all the extra stuff and play games for like 2-4hours a day...
I'm sure you have probably made your decision by now. In case you haven't. Yes Fable: The lost chapters is definitely worth buying. It is one of the best games to have ever come out for the xbox and I would probably buy a 360 just to be able to play Fable 2. Lucky for me when I was thinking about buying this game my brother bought one and told me how great it was and that was the clincher for me.
I think that Fable is a great game, so it is definitely worth buying. However I would suggest that you get Fable: The Lost Chapters instead as it has added content and is a much better game overall.
It's a very enjoyable game, but like it's been said many times above, it's a little short. There are ways that you can prolong your time there though, taking your time and messing around. However, I have never encountered any glitches in the game as some have said there are.
You might as well get the Lost Chapters version. Just in case you might reconsidered your desire to only play part of the game.
Not gonna beat on this dead horse.....just wanted to say, since you like Fable, you might try playing Sudeki after that, its not amust-have, but its very similar in visual and play style to Fable, so you may want to try it.
I went and picked the game up on all your advice, and I have to say that I... hated it. The visual style, the combat system and the "humor", those things and many more were complete garbage in my opinion. Luckily I was allowed to return it to the store and get my money back.

The visual style was okay in my opinion. The combat system was pretty good, I thought. The humor was a little too British at times. Overall, though, I thought it was a good game.
