Morrowind knocks all others out of the contest. Do you agree?roadkill103
There are several good ones, but I have to agree. Morrowind is the best RPG I've ever played. And I've played several.
I played and beat Jade Empire, Fable, Morrowind, KOTOR and KOTOR 2.
1.KOTOR 2.Morrowind 3.Jade Empire 4. Fable 5. KOTOR 2
IMHO.
Morrowind is clearly the best RPG ever made. Thousands of hours of gameplay. Fantastic and original setting. Tons of quests. Tons of things to do. Great atmosphere.
KOTOR was good but it didn't have the fire Morrowind had in my opinion.

Pretty much the same reasons I was thinking.

The KotORs. I liked em both, although the story in the second one was lacking. Towards the end, you really just have to make up a story of your own.
Tried Morrowind & couldn't get into it.Those type of RPGs are more of a chore than a gaming experience for me.

Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about Morrowind. The game completely absorbed me, and I really liked the character advancement system.
Morrowind. Has a lot more replay value and longevity than KOTOR, but I have to say KOTOR was an awesome game in its own right, and that I enjoyed both games a ton. Morrowind manages to edge it out by bit though.Edgemaster666

I hope it wasn't serious. If it is, then he doesn't deserve to play Video Games.
Knights of the Old Republic was an awesome game experience. I can definitely recognize all the work that went into making it, but in my opinion, Morrowind edges it out. I found Morrowind to be more replayable. Whereas I spend I believe ten hours playing Knights of the Old Republic (I didn't beat it), I've logged close to 400 hours in Morrowind between characters.
To the people saying Jade Empire: Jade Empire was an excellent game in its own right, but it wasn't up to par with Knights of the Old Republic or Morrowind.
To the people saying Fable: Fable was an excellent game. If Knights of the Old Republic hadn't come out, I think it would be closer to Morrowind. Since KotOR sits in the middle, though, it's a little ways behind Morrowind.
To the people saying Shenmue 2: Not technically an RPG, but in any case...Shenmue 2 was an okay game, but I found it way too slow for my liking. I can respect all the talent that went into making it, but it's not my type of game, and it's definitely not up to par with Morrowind or KotOR.

That makes me happy! I love Morrowind. That's where I got my name from, too. Well, part of it anyway.
