(cover will change once official cover releases)
If Rocky is seriously on the poster, no way in Hell would I buy it. I haven't even bought 2k13 yet.Crusader628I haven't bought a wrestling game since Here Comes the Pain...wrestling games went backwards this generation.

Stephanie McMahon already tweeted that The Rock would be on the cover which didn't bold too well with 2K
it's the Rock...StaticKornSlipX
No way, really? I thought it was Daniel Bryan on that cover for a second there!

I seriously said the same thing... Only if it looks good, I might pick it up cheap, then just make my own cover for the game. The Rock has no right to be on the cover of this game.

*sigh* I guess I wasn't facetious enough.... :PHard to tell who should be on it, definitely NOT The Rock, he left or something and lost the title....
I'm pretty sure there gonna change it since Stephanie ruined it
here are some better options

I would love to see the Team Hell No cover become official. But alas...
Anyway, I actually think WWE '13 was the best wrestling game since the N64 days. It's just a shame it took them so many games (Smackdown vs. RAW series, WWE '12, ect.) before they got it right. It still has its blips, but it actually polished some of the mechanics and different play modes (like 24/7 mode or whatever it's called) so they actually became playable. And I love me some story designer.
It's just a shame the elimination chambers are still so broken, when they can so easily fix the problems they have with them.

I'll take wwe 13's lag over what 2k14 will bring which is cheats and mods and glitches[QUOTE="SloganYams"]Anyway, I actually think WWE '13 was the best wrestling game since the N64 days.killerband55

There are definitely some tweaks that need to be made, and good heavens these games need to find a way to not support turbo controllers. But at the very least if one person leaves a six-man battle royale it doesn't decide to boot everyone like in the past several games. Not to mention it's actually possible to upload created stuff this time (the servers never worked for me in the past games). WWE '13 certainly isn't perfect, but the overall package is far less flawed than any other wrestling game I can think of in recent memory.

i agree
I still don't think WWE games should be coming out every year. The series should be biennial.StaticKornSlipX
tell that to Assassin's Creed

*sigh* And I'm one of the suckers.... :( :PI think they should completely make a new engine for it or something differentshoe_crap78
...They just did that two years ago, and the new engine was raved for how great it was. 2K will likely use the engine they use for their other games though, so I'd expect yet another new game engine.
Maybe this game will have a career mode StaticKornSlipX
YES!!!! it'd be tougher though because the roster will be so small and you can't progress through years like in nba 2k, so it'd have to be a lot shorter but they could still do a lot of the same things like building up skills, moving up from training to indy to superstars to SD to raw, all the accessories (although I'm getting real sick of games pushing you to buy in game money with real money) and the side things like having fans on facebook/twitter
I could see that and love mycareer in nba 2k13 going from a scrub to the best ever and having your own billboards/commercials/nike deals, it'd be awesome for this but still I'd wait til their 2nd or 3rd try at it, will be really glitchey with a ton of holes the 1st game

Agreed. They too often feel like a rehash of the game that came out the year before, but with a couple of modifications (a lot of which are not for the better). I'd rather they took their time to make a polished game (look at me, hoping for polish in a WWE game) than have a rushed game every year. Like I said though, I liked WWE '13.

That would be sick. Totally need to hire a story designer that's also a wrestling fan for that.
Career mode will be difficult because your character will go through the life of a wwe superstar
So you will appear on tv and then just as your about to reach main event level
backstage politics will ruin your push and your wrestler will start jobbing and barely appear on tv
and then you get released and there career mode is done

I really can see them doing it just would have to find a way to not be repetitive with a small roster, they could let you build up mic skills too, you could go from roman reigns at the start to y2j before you retire lmao

I was thinking they should add something like "Pop Rating" for a Career Mode. So characters in Career Mode get this rating for their promos, matches, entrances, etc; based on the amount of crowd reaction they get. This "Pop Rating" will determine your wrestler's fame (reputation).StaticKornSlipX
but if your a mid carder you will get no reaction

So long as the poisonous shadow of John Cena looms over the locker room, no one will be allowed to baske in the spotlight. Should someone gain any kind of popularity, they will immediately be put in a storyline with John Cena so that their aforementioned popularity can rub off on Cena (it never does, people still boo him, but WWE tries anyway). Then as soon as the story is done, they keep Cena in the spotlight and the once-popular superstar returns to irrelevancy (just as Zack Ryder and AJ Lee).
It's annoying in real life, but could make for an entertaining career mode in the game. The only thing worse is if you'd look at Orton the wrong way. Instant-firing!
