Well for me i think it is too much, when everytime someone says anything against USA, the whole building goes wild. They become heels and chant USA the whole night. What are your thoughts on this subject?
it's a cheap way to get heat but sometimes it's nessecary like in 1997 they needed to make Bret a heel but didn't want to change his character so they had him make fun of the U.S. and he was a big heel in the U.S. but in Europe and Canada everybody loved Bret and that is what the WWE wanted.
Like the unamericans, they were heel, maybe overdone, but still they were heels. And i was watching Sheik and the other russian guy at Wrestlemania. They were heel because they said Iran and Russia were just as good, or nr 1 in tag teams
i personally dont care too much about it, i think its fun and all i mean when WWE does shows from England, you get those weird chants those england ppl do and i dont really care (though i have no idea what they are chanting)
I just hate it when the fans don't realize what's going on. I remember once they were doing a USA chant while two foreigners were in the ring. And it wasn't because they didn't like either of them.

yeah it is totally ignorant and stupid. I don't mind patriotism in some form. But this is too much

Ok dude, relax. It is not ignorant and stupid, when fans get bored they chant random things. Like lets go red wings, maybe the crowd was just bored with the match. It doesnt bother me, and in some cases the wrestlers are TRYING to get that reaction from the fans. Non-News.
U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A! I remember one time Jericho was wrestling, and some random-ass fan yelled to Jericho "Go back to Toronto!", Jericho replied "I'm from Winnipeg, you idiot!". Just goes to show how ignorant overly-patriotic people can be.
