As noted several days ago, Vince McMahon gave Joey Styles a meeting two weeks ago prior to RAW letting him know that he needed to work on his announcing style. Vince was very open about telling Styles what he was doing wrong and what he wanted from him. Sources report that Joey is going to need to learn that he is not calling 'ECW matches' and that if he wants to stay on RAW long-term, he'll need to change his ways. Styles is a great play by play announcer, although WWE has one way and that is Vince's way. Styles has been very vocal in the past about WWE's over-the-top storylines. He was also nearly silent for the sex segment on RAW last night. It's amazing what a WWE contract can do to one person.
Vince just needs to shut up and listen to his fans or his company will die just like WCW did.KevyR
Yeah, exactly what I think, I was kinda suprised when I found out when they did that sex segment on RAW, but what else can I expect from WWE these days, lol.

I know Vince needs to take the stick out of his @** and just get over it. If you have a problem with Styles not talking during parts of the story, come up with better ones!!
See, this yet another example of why WWE is falling down the crapper, because Vince McMahon has to be control freak about everything and simply put....nut case. Well, if Vince McMahon ever does fire Joey Styles, hopefully he will join TNA and replace Don West on the TNA announcing team.
McMahon should just let Styles go out and do his job the way he does it because its the way he does it and the passion he shows that made him one of the best announcers.
Boy, Vince is one to criticize announcers, you know, considering he was one for several years... One of the WORST announcers I've ever heard. Man, if Vince didn't own the company, he would have been owned by Sean Mooney. I seriously have trouble watching some of Bret Hart's old matches because of how bad Vince's commentary is. What is Styles doing wrong? Is he too good? Is he making your old work look even worse by comparison? Does he, you know, want to see WRESTLING not PG-Porno? Get over it Vince, the fans like Styles, the fans like JR, the fans hate Coach and don't even get me started on Grisham, that should be what matters!

Personally, that is the only (and I mean "only") negative (big one) in the WrestleMania X match between Bret Hart and Owen Hart...the phony, tendious and horrible announcing my Vince McMahon. "What impressive move" and "What a move" are two of the worst expressions in wrestling history, IMHO.

Yup, I watched that match last night and those were definately one of Vince's lame trademarks. That and "One, Two- YES-no he kicked out" or some variation for EVERY pinfall. I'm really happy he didn't call either of the Mr.Perfect matches, I lucked out there. Sadly, he calls nearly all of the third disc.
