Jim Ross on Edge's Injury: I talked to Edge mere minutes after his Achilles tendon surgery last week and he had a more positive attitude about returning to the ring than most would. Edge has been faced with many challenges over his career and if any one can return and be as good as they were before they were hurt then it will be him. However, we should all be realistic about this situation as Achilles tendon injuries can be devastating for an athlete that maintains a schedule like Edge. My money is on Edge to return ready to rock, be more popular than ever and perhaps even possibly having a one on one match with Chris Jericho at WM26 which could be a show stealer. Yes, that's all speculation but a guy can dream, can't he?

So could Y2J-Edge

Unless they keep having Jericho talk crap about Edge on TV until he comes back (which may not even happen in time to build a WM match) then it wouldn't make much sense.

Yes, but it would make more sense to have Y2J-Edge at WM 26, versus WM 27.

Eh, unless they continue Jericho talking crap about Edge for the time he is out, it won't make very much sense at all.

Only if the WWE does not book it correctly.

Otherwise, it is easy. Just put the feud on hold until announcement of Edge's return is announced, which should be a few weeks in advance. Then, the only thing they do is show videos, and have Jericho talk trash, and it makes all the sense in the world.

I wouldn't mind seeing Edge vs. Jericho but we all want Jericho vs. Undertaker! I hope Undertaker can stay another two year if Edge vs. Jericho is the schedule event for WM 26, that is if he can make it back in time.

Taker will be around til atleast 20-0. There's just something about 20-0 that seems almost 10 wins more epic than 18-0

I would much rather see Jericho/Edge culminate at WM26 than to have a Jericho/Taker feud going into it.  At least with Edge in the match instead of Taker, you don't know who's going to win.  Taker always wins at Mania, so I could really care less who he fights at 26.  His match with Michaels was probably the best of the year still, but the predictibility factor took a lot out of the match IMO.

For me, with the way feud had been booked, of Michaels constantly out-smarting Taker, and with the way the match was booked, of Michaels kicking out of everything, there was enough there to make me think that a Michaels victory was possible.

Plus, it was Shawn Michaels.

On the other hand, there is no ****ing way I will ever believe Chris Jericho has remote chance in hell of ending the streak.

Actually I think it's pretty obvious Taker against either Y2J or Edge that Taker wins. Because Jericho or Edge gain nothing from it and the Mania streak is basicially Takers ENTIRE legacy. Taker has never been no constant world title kinda guy. The only thing he's remembered for is his streak. I don't see him ever losing at Mania.

For me personally, I'd rather see Jericho/Taker than Jericho/Edge and yes...I don't care about the predictability. I didn't care about the predictability this year against HBK and that ended up as one of the greatest matches I've ever seen
