Here, you have a topic about Shawn Michaels, who along with the Kurt Angle's & Bret Hart's, will go down in history as one of the best of all-time. HBK has been a good character ever since he broke away from Marty Jannety and The Rockers tag team. The "Heartbreak Kid" has evolved as a character and has produced many memorable moments that have throughly entertained me, as a fan of good wrestling.
If I had to pick, I'd say my favorite version of HBK is the DX 1997 version. He & HHH worked so well off each other and made DX one of the best stables of all-time. It was also Shawn's best heel run IMHO and he was an edgier character back then. Nowadays, the clean-wholesome Christian HBK cannot say or do certain things because of his religion. So, Shawn's heel days are probably behind him. His wrestling ability back in the day were good and he was a trail-blazer with the Ladder match. He & Scott Hall's ladder match at Wrestlemania 10 was great and is a textbook example of vintage HBK. His legacy will be remembered and that's what matters most [HBK being remembered as one of the greats].
