WWE.com has a video up where CM Punk vows to get a tag team partner and go after Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. He says he won't stop until he has beaten them for the tag titles. Check out the video here.
While I have maintained the position that, for what it was, WWE booked CM Punk correctly as world heavyweight champion, to put things lightly, this is not exactly what I had in mind, in regards to post-WHC booking.
Well all I'm going to say is I think it's going to be Kofi Kingston.wwe4ever_in05
Not as if Kofi is doing anything else. I mean, as of late, just been kinda of lost in the shuffle.
Me personally, I thought the booking of Punk's World Title reign was way off base. He was made to look too weak, basically relegating his reign to being a fluke. Then to have him lose the title without even being in the Championship Scramble just annoyed me to no end. If you're going to "screw" somebody out of a title, this wasn't the way to do it.
But now, Punk is going after Rhodes and DiBiase, vowing to cost them their tag team belts. Wonderful motive, but to go from a World Champion to challenging for the tag belts in a month's time is pretty ludicrous.
