For those who have seen the trailer, the game looks very much like Twisted Metal. But at the same time, the maps are vastly expanding, characters will be receiving two specials, and the new 16-player multi-player modes make the game look very... different. Jaffe says they are incorporating single-player stories, which sounds much more down the road of the tried and true Twisted Metal. The question is: Do you think that the old formula, the old battle strategies we've known and practiced for all of these years, will be useful in the upcoming Twisted Metal? Or will the gameplay change to the extent where we'll be forced to throw all of our old strategies out the window?

I think a lot of it will be the same, but we'll see that the single player portion of the game will be to unlock the videos as quick as possible, then move onto the multiplayer aspect to level up as much as possible. Single player, or the classic twisted metal aspect of the game will be a side note to an online juggernaut.

im sure all the strategies will be pretty much in tact. i mean regardless of what they add, its still car combat. dont get hit too much, and hit the other people more. it looks like it plays like Black which im totally happy about
