Media Create Japan Sales Charts: PS Vita is Dead, Long Live Nintendo 3DS

The latest numbers are in from Japan, and the 3DS's utter and thorough domination of both, the software and the hardware charts continues, as it claims not only the top four spots of the software charts, but also somehow, inexplicably, gets an increase in hardware sales over last week.

Elsewhere, Sony's problems with the PS Vita continue, as not only does any software fail to chart, but the Vita still continues its sub 50k performance (even though it experienced a very slight raise), being outsold however, by the 3DS, PSP, PS3 and even the Wii.

The 3DS outsold every other system on the chart put together.

Seriously guys the Vita isnt dead yet the same happened to the 3DS then the 80 dollar price cut came. You have to wait for at least six months sales to see if a console is dead or not.

No. Better happend to 3DS. In February. Huge difference.

Additionally, Sony can't cut the price significantly or maybe at all without taking losses because they are insane when it comes to hardware.

At this point I think that we're beating a dead horse when we say that the Vita's Japanese Launch was a giant ****ing disaister.

Those numbers were for every single territory the Vita has launched in, which includes Asian territories like Hong Kong.

I continue saying that PSVita will be fine...but man, 40K? ok, that's has to be a little bit worrying even to the most faithful Vita defenders.
