Just wondering. other then me and Commando. Was wondering what experice you all others have had with the millitary. and if you had any relitives in WWII
Yeah. I just recently found out that my Grandfather's brother, (my great uncle) was killed in the european theater of WWII.   Im still trying to find more information about him.Â
I had a good friend who was a Ranger who had served in Korea some. Our platoon combat medic also served in Korea before joining our unit. I always wanted to visit places in Asia. I think if we ever took military action against North Korea, id probably re-enlist.Â
My great grandad was and Anti Aircraft gunner in ww2 and his brother was a tank commander in the desert rats fighting rommel in africa. I have two freinds in the army now one is a para and ones a marine, both of them have been to Iraq and Afghanistan I can't remember who went where. I am joining when I finnish college later this year.
Well good luck. One thing I have to say about the service...it was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life, but it was also one of the best thing I had ever done in my life.
I can't wait its always been what I was going to do since I was little and I have never changed my mind. My family are really supporting me and aren't trying to stop me so it's great.

I agree, it's been one ride that I'll never forget. You'll meet alot of interesting people and have friends that will last a life time. It will be the best time of your life.Â
Well my dad is in the airforce and right now were stuck in okinawa japan.. its an experience, but I'd say its only worth a visit.. i wanna go back to the states :( About 2 and a half years to go.........
Ive always wanted to visit asia, I think it would be really interesting.  To bad we havn't gone to war with Korea yet, or aelse I would have gotten a chance to go. lol Maybe get pass in Japan or the Phillipeans :D
