On-topic: Vin Diesel would be cool, i like hi, even though a lot of people also hate him.
Off-topic: There is already a topic about the actor who should play Kratos, and they probably will make a movie, since the script is finished.
if they do make a movie it would look alot better in CGI and then they can have the same ppl do voice overs cuz the guy that does Kratos's voice is black and it would just sound so weird having diffrent voices Qwark678
Thats what i thought, i still think Vin should do it.
Its not that the guy who does Kratos voice cant be Kratos just because he's black, i couldnt care less if they changed that, its just i dont think the guy who does Kratos' voice is 'buff' enough......if you know what i mean.
you may not care but kratos can't be black, back then black people where slaves and i hardely think they would let them be Spartan generals!! and he would look really wierd as Vin just imagine it also the guy's voice was apperantly "buff enough" for 2 gow games so....
I was joking, but havent you noticed? The voice of Kratos is played by a Black person. Its why he is so cool  jk but really he is cool like that.you may not care but kratos can't be black, back then black people where slaves and i hardely think they would let them be Spartan generals!! and he would look really wierd as Vin just imagine it also the guy's voice was apperantly "buff enough" for 2 gow games so....

Kratos's voice is played by T.C Carson. ( as seen in the following picture ) http://www.finaldestinationmovies.ch/pagebilder/menu/terrencecast.jpg
they have alot of black people do voice overs like atlas is black, kratos maybe some others Qwark678Yeah but still, a black person with white makeup like kratos's skin is white, it would look cool right?

Actually black people werent slaves till way after this, since America hadnt been discovered and not much was known about Africa, so no.
I think Vin would be good as Kratos, and buff means musceley  it has nothing to do with voices....

Africa was developing and trading with the other peoples in the world and they had wars with rome so that must tellu that they knew something about it and american's weren't the first people to make africans there slaves they were doing it way before then,i think u should research slavery some more to get ur facts straight

Thats not what i said at all, America hadn't even been discovered in these Greek times so how does that work?
They can't exactly make Africans their slaves when they havn't discovered the place, the Mayflower wasn't till way after these times.....
And since when are films completely loyal to the history? David Jaffe already said he wants a black actor (i forgot his name) to play Kratos, and lets keep this a friendly debate, we dont want an argument no?
NOOOOOOOOOO VIN DIESEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOO SAM L. JACKSON
NOOOOOOOOOO THE ROCK
I don't have any problem with these actors but when it comes to casting someone into the role of a character previously played by another actor(or voice actor) the actor should be relatively unknown. Think about it. If a guy like vin diesel was cast as kratos everyone would go on about how vin diesel would be awesome as kratos but when his preformence sucked *ss everyone would complain about it. Like Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. Nobody knew what to expect and it turned out to be a wonderful preformance.

why do u keep bringing america into this????? africans were slaves back then some of them weren't but that has absolutly nothing to do with america!!!!

Jeez, i offered a friendly debate and said we dont want an argument and you ignore it completely and moan at me for mentioning America?
Very mature dude, whatever...
Personally I don't think Vin Diesel has what it takes to play a role of that caliber. Everybody keeps saying that he would be cool to play that role, but who are you really foolin? Everybodys just saying he could play that role because hes bald. In a situation like this, just because a guy is bald doesn't mean he could provide the role necessarily.EmanSolid117
I personally think that Vin is a good actor, and its not just because he's bald that he'd be good for Kratos, he can shout well, and he's incredibly musceley already. Hecan portray anger well too IMO
Thats just my opinion though.
Why not Gerard Butler from "300"?
Everyone is going for the obvious choice, "Vin Diesel is bald and an action star." And while he is an OK actor, I just can't picture him as Kratos. I want them to find someone who has a powerful presence on-screen and I'm sorry but Vin Diesel lacks that. Think outside the box, just because an actor isn't bald and an action star does not mean he will not be great as Kratos.
Also, any actor can work out and get really buff. I'm not saying I want them to go the Sam Raimi way and get an actor with a small frame (Topher Grace as Eddie Brock), but just because an actor isn't Mr. Universe doesn't mean he cannot obtain the correct build.
Right now I think Gerard Butler would be great (listen to his snarls in "300", very Kratos-y IMO), though I'm still not 100% sure he would be the right choice. Someone else mentioned Daniel Craig and that would certainly be interesting.

Bottom line: I want a strong actor for the part, not the mediocre obvious choice.
I think creeper should play kratos.strikeagain
ps i dont think that we must worry about the actor they are so many actors in the movie world that im worry is if we will see kratos doing very crazy moves in the game because the bloodraven when come to the cinema was a crap sorry guys but that was my point of view so they must be extra carefull not all the movies that originally were games had the best start expet silent hill, resident evil and x-men but for the x-men they should have done better job.
I think Travis "Tyson" Tomko would make a good Kratos.
