Deeb's GoWIII BoA PAIN+ run progress

This is just a bit easier version than GoWIII BoE PAIN+. The harpies may be the only problem but in return you have s,t,t,t which would save a lot of times and causes a huge damage. However, I've just stopped after Hermes. I will start to tell my strategies from after Poseidon.

2 Gorgons Serpent and Sentries: Launch the Gorgon with Argo's revenge then OH. When the Sentries respawn use BR toward the Serpent.

Trials of Erebus(1st trial): Hit the arms from a long distance to disturb them(so that you won't get hit) then grab them

2nd Trial: OH and BR

3rd Trial: Gorgon OH, Harpies air OS, stay at a corner and s,t,t,t or you can let the Gorgon petrify the Hapries and the Minotaurs.

2 HC: Stay at the edge and the HC will kick so lauch at them s,t,t,T,. NOTE: If one of them came to you don't hit him a lot just 2 or 3 hits and run away(he has a very fast attack and maybe he will do the unblockable one)

Hades(S1P1): Attack and block

S1P2: PoP after any attack except for the one the he goes right and left 4 times(sometimes it's 3).

S2P1: That's the hardest. When he does the triple attack that looks like X, lauch s,t,t,t but mind the distance, time, and direction on order not to get hit. Also you may attack and block.

S2P2: PoP after every atack except for the three skulls.

S3P1: When he brings his chains out of the ground to attack you, go to him and do two or three combo hits.

The rest of the phases are dealed normally.

Gate of Olympia: PoP and grab the hounds.

NOTE: Go back from where you came from to have a better view.

2nd Centaur: Sweet spot and s,t,t,t

Chimera: PoP for the first phase. 2nd Phase: s,t,t and sometimes if he got knowcked back while attacking continue with s,t,t,s. Last Phase: Jump over the fire and 3 combo hits then block..

The Caverns: The only problems are the minotaurs. Launch them with Argo's revenge then s6 to ring them out

NOTE: Make sure you don't control(ride) the Cerberus unless the Sentries are dead.

Hermes: s,t,t,t from a long distance.

3 1st Chimera(Helios is the hole problem)

How I feel about picking up where I left off in my current run and all the evaluations I still have on the backlog.  I'll do it tomorrow and force myself to get the rest needed to be set for that.  I've been actively denying myself in favor of having a go with some particularly sensitive lads in two recent s***storms.  I couldn't pass up a chance like that.  "It's my nature." - The Scorpion

Anyway. Something I hate it but I can't help not doing it, invlolving myself in couple runs at the same time. I've started recording GoWI PAIN, it will be the hole run not fights only. I'm at the Oracle's Temple, just after finishing the harpy puzzle. Meanwhile, this run is still incomplete(Labyrinth: box 4), also I've started GKPAIN+(BK), so I wanna finish recording first then I would do these pending runs.

Bad habit.  Not entirely guiltless on that front myself though.  Not really with multiple GoW runs at once, but multiple games.  Not in the extreme though.

I'm working my way there.  Zig is caught up.  Almost done with Tid.  You're up next.  I'm going to try to go to bed in another hour or so.  So long as I don't wake up four hours later for no good reason, I should have sufficient energy to carry out the task as planned.  It's just then a matter of YT not f***ing with me (crashing).

Amusing.  You'll have quite a bit of fun along the way.  Quick wins and quick losses here and there.  Aside from bits without means around Power %.  Then you'll have some hilariously long chipping sequences.  Sounds like you should report all this to the Specialty Run thread.

I didn't like the idea of battles only, it doesn't get views, also people may think that I've just put couple fights at PAIN+ but I didn't beat the it.

Neither does doing videos long after a game releases, high level play, no commentary, less than amazing video/audio quality, etc.

Casuals may thing a lot of things that don't make a whole lot of sense.  They'll see your collision damage being super high and think you're on Easy (showing a fundemantal lack of understanding of game mechanics).  Worry less about what trash thinks.  This is my advice.  Know nothing casuals are just there to be condescended to and offered aid if they can swallow their pride and find their inner man.

Among many other vets.  Those that did didn't bother with PAIN+ and even those like me are in no rush to work with it.  Glitchers quickly lost interest (findlestick was so put off he stopped playing vidya for awhile).

Just for its own sake.  BoA PAIN+ is something I do to see how it would differ from the BoE (having a full string moveset, the old t1, no CG, stupid specials, alternate BASE damage values, etc.).  That was reason enough for me who put up with focused runs on each weapon (that many would say are too similar *though they're full of it aside from CoH and how that tends to play with the same sort of tactics*).

NOTE: Thinking back on it, the CoH remind me of the GoW:A Blades.  Like an early preview.  With regards to base anyway.  No access to a higher version of the heavy ender, a weird light ender and the T.  Granted, CoH has much higher base damage than the GoW:A Blades, doesn't have similar specials, etc.  The special property of lingering damage on Curse reminds me just a bit of the 'elements' for GoW:A too.

Actually it's a laptop, my new adaptor got crashed but I've solved it by my old one(you just need to know that it's already solved), I can return to uploading right now, I wanna finish GoWII PAIN+ quickly. Since I didn't start uploading GoWI PAIN yet, that means I'm not invloved in anything(I will continue recording later). I've platted GoWII on my new account today and worked on some of my GKPAIN+ run. The Challenge of the Titans were very easy because I've played too much challenge runs and it's been a very long time since I last played the challenges. GoWIII: I have 63% due to PAIN+ runs and I didn't collect the horn, eyes, and feathers also I made a mistake at the Labyrinth so I didn't get aMAZED trophy. GoWI: I didn't start anything yet and I record it on my old account.

I don't advise jumping into it.  If you're impatient, go to NUR+ before PAIN+.  Not learning the options of all your tools would be a pity even if many won't apply for PAIN+.  If the goal is just that (beating the run itself) and not the lessons you get from the run, I suppose it won't matter to you.

Of course, the extreme of that would be vanilla, challenges, arena (custom arena challenges), NUR+, NGR+ NUR+, NBR+ NUR+, costume themed runs, focus runs (testing spells/weapons throughout), etc.  PAIN+ with AoS as the focus for the purpose of learning it or even a vanilla run with the AoS as the focus to see what you can do with the upgraded abilities (utterly destroy the game).

Aside from the ending and maybe bits where CG would be desirable (mainly things involving Harpy Queens such as the rotating spike trap box in the Labyrinth).

You're not allowed to.  You have to use an air OS to capture the Harpy Queen instead.  As with setting up Zeus for the air OS (you need to use BoA's t1 and T).

It's weird to hear this while BoA isn't an official run.

Even if not official, like the NGR+ NUR+, NBR+ NUR+, etc., it had defined rules to follow for it to be considered the same run noted from the outset.

Same reason Artemis PAIN+ isn't official.  We only recognize PAIN+ by the original variant.  We don't make distinctions for weapons in lesser runs (NUR+ for instance) either.  The only costume that gets favor is General Kratos.  The Chalice isn't recognized for official runs, but is honored otherwise.

NGR/NGR+ and NBR/NBR+ are like NRR, NCR, NER, etc. in that they are clearly runs, but we don't recongize them on their own nor would pairing them with NUR/NUR+ (or PAIN/PAIN+) change this.  Otherwise, I'd be inflating my run record quite a bit.
