My Local GAME Said tht it will be out in Febuary in the UK but seeing as there is no publisher yet announced i doubt it

yeah i have seen all those pics before, and we havent heard much about the alliance recently. No news, no new pictures, more info on the publisher or game status its a bit worrying. Wonder how long we will have to wait?

Remember Juiced, guys? At least that one was grabbed up by a company relatively fast and came out about a year later. It worries me that that hasn't happened with Alliance yet. Let's think positive and keep our fingers crossed!

I was just checking it out and I saw that Gamespot has updated the release date of the PC of Stargate Alliance to February 1 of next year. It may have been like that for a while I just think it is odd that PC has a release date and the consoles are still "TBA".

I hope that the date is correct!!! I dont see any reason why a publisher would not want to pick up this game other than the legal battles which have really seemed to fade away into nothing.

too much speculation not enough answers. i just checked perceptions website and it hasent been updated since 9/11/05 and the official alliance website has no news and its not been updated for ages

Well its the publishers job to release new info on the game, and since they don;t ahve one there is no new info.

i still dont know why this game dosent have a publisher??? its a very sucessfull tv series so why not and the game has allready begun alpha testing so finding a publisher shouldnt be a problem

Maybe since there is legal problems, new publishers don't want to get involved untill its all sorted out.

They say they cancelled it because it wasnt good enough for the fans but i think it is because they just want as much profit possible and they could have already made some instead of making lawyers even more rich than they are.

Would anyone like to explain to me the difference between alpha testing and beta testing? I know the words are from Greek symbols, but I don't know if that has any significance or meaning.

Alpha testing i think is more like in house testing or focus group testing and beta testing is more of a large scale test with more participants (including a public beta) to discover bugs in the gameplay and to generate some more interest in the game.

I think Perception needs to try and get the game a little more known. I don't know how they can do that. Honestly, to me, I think the game looked fine, and if they had to delay it a couple of months so they could iron out al the flaws JoWood should have let them. I think the major problem is that JoWood may have invested too much into the venture and they needed to get money back quickly, and since the game was going to be delayed they wouldn't have gotten any. And now, with this bad reputation strung around them it's going to be hard for anyone to find The Alliance to be a good investment. Probably not the right people, but Mirocosft Studios (if that's thier name) should pick it up. They're always money hungry. I mean.. they always invest in quality games. >.> <.< >.> *Mysteriously goes missing*

If anybody has Microsoft Simulator 2002 then and you want to see what it is like to fly a death glider then you should go to http://www.simviation.com/fs2002misc13.htm and download it. There are 2 version and i got the second one and it maxes out at around 3.6K knots which is faster than the SR-71. It's really hard to control though and it will just keep climbing till it hits 100K ft then there is a wall (M$ cheaped out and didnt add any space, not even in 04) and you fall crazily. Still it is cool to cross states in minutes in a death glider. There are also some other planes like some sort of orb and shpere from star trek, goodyear blimp, the lost in space ship, and some other wierd stuff.
