Well Zelda has been around for awhile. Which system do you remember having the best experience with Zelda or favorite? Any game from the series. What did you like? Anything from game play to just the whole feel to the game etc.

NES SNES N64 GBA and the list goes on!

Definitely N64. Bringing Zelda into 3D was phenomenal. 3D made the puzzles were much tougher and fights much more exciting.

My votes for N64. I still remember when I first played OoT in glorious 3D. Priceless

I'll agree with you all and say the N64 when playing Ocarina of Time. It was just breathtakingly amazing how much detail and time was put into the game as well as standing to be an industry milestone.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon or anything... but I'd also have to go with N64. I mean I loved the whole LoZ series since it was on the NES , but I think on the N64 it really revolutionized the whole series and also influenced other games in general. OOT and MM were simply amazing in every aspect, definitely system sellers, and both awesome games to introduce newer fans to the whole series.

Well, your post asks which system I had the most fun with Zelda. My answer:

GameCube :o Wow I'm the first to say this!? lol

Mainly because the only game I owned on N64 was MM. I DID beat OoT at my friend's place though :P

On GC I have WW, and OoT Master Quest

Based on which system was Best for LoZ (which is what the topic asks) this would be the N64 in my opinion ;)

To date, I would have to say the N64 if only because OOT was on that system. In terms of potential, the GameCube is clearly the system with the power to render the best Zelda experience to date, but so far, we have not seen it. I think the new Zelda game will be the best in the series when it is released.

Though Ocarina of Time is my favorite game ever and Link to the Past is my second favorite Zelda, as well as my favorite SNES game....the combined greatness of the first two Zeldas has my vote going to the NES.

currently I would say N64, but if the new game turns out better than MM (to me, this game barely qualifies as excellent. still one of my top ten games though), which I assume it will then it will go to GC.

N64 and following close SNES. I dont have to explain N64 becuase ever1 explained it already. And Snes... well i really liked AlttP, i think this game was very innovative to its era.

Exactly how I feel. That third dimension added so much to the game experience.

Definitely N64. But after that I would have to say GBA, if you count the re-releases that is.

I am going suprise everyone and not say the N64. Instead, I think it has to be the GC just because of the sheer amount of games it has. This may be just b/c i have the Collector's Edition and a gameboy player but at this point in time i can play every zelda game ever on the GC. Thats right every one. LofZ (on Collector's Edition and GBP), AOL (same as LofZ), LA (GBP), ALttP (GBP), OoT (Collector's Edition), MM (Collector's Edition), OoS (GBP), OoA (GBP), WW (GC), FS (GBP), FSA (GC), MC (GBP). See all of them can. I conclude my statement with this, I would rather be able to play all of the games instead of just two (take that 64).

But that shouldn't count. This should only be about the games originally released on each platform.

I'd have to say N64, just because of Ocarina of Time. But's it a tough question because every system has had a really awesome Zelda game on it.
