i realy like the old zleda games the way they are because thats why they are famous. but if the zelda team was tired of making a new zelda game it would have to be A Link to the Past..
Well, the Oracle games are my first choice, but I am going to be purchasing many more Zelda games in a bit, so I will have to make my true decision then.
I will have to go with A Link to the Past. Because out of all the Zelda games this is my favorite. I have a feeling that if they remade this game it would be a smashing success. But that is just my opinion.
If they took the Link to the Past world and made a new, really long, 3d game, that would be awsome.  I would not want to see a flat remake of LTTP in 3d, Ive already played it beginning to end 4 different times...

When I first got my SNES a friend of mine brought ALTTP over and my eyes didn't leave the screen until I beat it. I've since gone through it tons of times (its really rather short once you know where everything is, lol). I don't own my SNES anymore but the game still sits on my comp (mmm emulation :P) and every so often I'll just start playing it again, its so much fun. I don't have a GBA but I plan to pic one up just so I can have a portable ATTLP! :D
Also, I think a 3D remake of ALTTP would be great! The same world, same main story but with a ton of extra side missions, mini games, physics to play around with... ahh drool!!! lol.
Link to the Past for sure. Minish cap would be second but it's been released rather recentally and I see re-releasing an older Zelda much more profitable and logical since you can show off a classic game to a new generation again.

Ya all they really need is to keep the same basic story, and enemies. I think that would be really cool. But I am not entirely sure that it would be as good as the original. Even if the graphics weren't fantastic.
