The OOT Beta Restoration Project

Some dudes in the mod community are trying to restore Ocarina of Time to its old looks, back when it was still in Beta.

Personally, I don't see the point in remaking OOT with even worse graphics, but they seem to have done some pretty interesting things to the gameplay. Notice the Forest Medallion in the items menu ? I wonder what it does...

i agree i dont see the point of remaking Oot either and if the forest medallion  does do anything i would think it magic of some sort or something to show to get through a door kinda like ww when you have to play the dungeons song to get through a wall and i would like to see it when it is finished 

I would think the forest medallion does things similiar to the medallions from A Link to the Past. Likely a very powerful spell that encompasses a large area.

I would prefer more works like this one.

Ah, yes. I remember seeing this on The Hylia.

It's very neat, indeed. It's funny how Hyrule Castle remains completely unchanged, though. :P

I think I prefer the original graphics over this. I think that more detailed graphics don't fit the graphic styIe of the game, because the original graphics are much lighter. The cel-shaded pictures were truly terrible.

Yeah, I've heard of the Cel-Shaded pack.  Does it look that much better?  Is it worth it?  If so, where can I find it?  Could i just find a torrent of it somewhere?
