Seasons focuses more on combat while Ages focuses more on puzzles. Its a matter of taste.

No, they have different stories, but they connect to form the "Linked Game".  I personally like Seasons better, but that's just my opinion.  They're both really good, and it doesn't matter which one you play first.

Ages is harder, I would recommend Seasons if you want the easier game first, and Ages if you want the harder game first.

I personally preferred Seasons to Ages, but both are great games.

I've gone through both games myself and can say that my own personal taste is Seasons. However, I really liked how absolutely evil Ages presented your final foe, while Seasons, although a more interesting battle, just didn't present me with a challenge. The final dungeon of Ages is far more interesting ;).

However, and Zelda fan should have them both. I linked my two games to fight the real evil (again, not spoiling anything) which is a huge amount of fun. This, and at the time I was addicted to the little midi or whatever that would play again and again in this new area lol.

Like it was said before me, the main difference between the two would be the overall story of the games... along with the fact that Ages is more puzzle-oriented as opposed to Seasons which leans a bit more towards the "action" aspect of the game. As for what one is better, I personally think that both of them are great games in their own respects... so it will basically come down to what type of LoZ game you prefer. I would suggest that you just give both of them a try for yourself and see what you think about each of them.

I've played through both of them and personally I like Ages better than Seasons. I found the time traveling aspect to be more enjoyable than changing the seasons. Ages was also more challenging. But they both do have different stories and it doesn't really matter which one you start your quest in. Only a few different events will happen depending on which game you start first. Both games are highly recommendable and are some of the best the GBC had to offer.

Agreed. Both these games are pretty good. I liked the fact that they played off each other.

Linking Seasons - to -Ages was a good Idea.

It's to bad "they" didn't do this concept with any of the N 64 Zelda games.
