Malon and Link

While skimming through the Zelda fanfiction, at least two out of three stories hook Malon up with Link. While it's certainly romantic and ripe with intrigue, does everyone want them to be together? Or should Link be with someone else (or by himself)?

So, since Saria is forever a kid, would that make Link a pedo?  My vote goes for either Zelda, or alone.

If Link had to be with anyone, I would like it to be Malon. (She gives him a cow after all. How many girls do you know who would do that?)

Of course, I like having Link be a loner. He is so much cooler that way.

You must admit, getting the cow in Link's house was impressive. So you have to do a bit of racing.

Besides, Zelda is so annoying. Its always go do that and go do this. And then she gets caught by Ganon.

You didn't have to. You can beat the main quest without completing the task of saving  Epona which is the one that needed saving. It was more about saving Epona and bringing Talon back then saving Malon.

 Link would be too busy pimpin' hos to make a commitment and pimpin' ain't easy.

Well, Saria is one of the sages and always will be a little girl, so she is out, and the chose is between ZElda an Malon.

Interestingly enough, the Link in Tp does work as a ranch hand which is a bit like a cow boy.:P

I still think Link, the Hero of Time, died alone.

It would only be a cheat. Plus, with the vast coding that fans are doing with Oot, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened to pop up.:P

he should get with zelda cause it would make the game live up to its name for god sakes it called the legend of zelda yet sometimes it hardly has anything to do with the broad.insanewolfninja

The only reason its called the Legend of Zelda is since the first game was named that and Nintendo had no idea that their game could become so popular.

the legend of zelda sound better than the legend of link or malon. Besides, in every game Zelda somehow plays a big enough role so that it could be called zelda. Even MM. Remember on top of the clock tower for the first time? The song of time awakens "sweet memorys of princess zelda"justiceboy13

That was but a little part. Besides, what about La? You could also say Ganon has a huge part in the series. Then there is also the land of Hyrule which appears in most of the games in some way.

But hey, The name: "The legend of Zelda" sound pretty cool. Maybe, there is always a Link or a Ganon or a Hyrule, but the point always is to HELP ZELDA, so that why i think tha name is good enough, jeje

We've had games without Ganon and Hyrule, but there is always two constants:  Link (duh!)  and Zelda.  MM and LA were probably the most set apart games when it comes to those constants (I don't really know about OOA/OOS, or MC).  Neither was set in Hyrule, nor did you fight Ganon, nor did you use the Master Sword, nor did you quest for the Triforce.  However, as someone has already stated, in MM, Zelda played an indirect (but no less important) role.  In LA, Marin, the girl who saves you in the beginning, "bears an uncanny resemblance to Princess Zelda."  This can be seen as an indirect role as well.

If you link the games, Zelda does appear in the second game you play, so does Ganon for that matter.

MM has already been addressed.  As for MC, someone else will have to take that one.  We don't have enough info on PH to say it does not follow.
