The Good: Compelling characters and story; outstanding world and puzzle design; longer than most action adventure games; terrific graphics, from an artistic perspective.

The Bad: Graphics and sound sometimes go from nostalgic to dated.

You can't go wrong with either version of the game, but if you're still trying to decide, the Wii version is just a bit better.

I've been playing the gamecube version, and i have to say as much as i love it, i'm always finding myself shakin the controller as if i were expecting it to be like the Wii version. Yeah, i like the Wii version better.

8.9?!!! That makes it worse than Wind Waker(which was a good game) according to asholish reviews by Gamespot staff! And how is the Wii version better if it's rated 0.1 more than the Wii version

I guess because they compared the Wii version to other Wii games, and the GC version to other GC games when getting the score, not to eachother.

Well the GS reviewing system in general is flawed. Also the fact gameplay wasn't bumped up is really odd considering the Wii-mote complaint is no longer relevent. It ended up in "The Bad" section of the review thus it definitely was a notable part when regarding gameplay. It just doesn't seem right.

And there it is, in fine print, Jeff contradicting itself. Fabulous job buddy,

There's no finesse to the way the Wii Remote is used, and at times you'll wish that you could just hit a button to swing the sword instead of dealing with all the motion-sensing nonsense.Jeff Gerstmann

Straight from Jeff's Wii review, and now that he's played TP on the GC with a normal controller he says the Wii version is better...huh? Jeff is one very confused dude.

I absolutely adore TP on both systems, and will continue to do so no matter what any review says. But Jeff cetainly hasn't done any favours for Gamespots reputation with his contradictory views on this game.

So the things he thought was tacked-on is what actually makes it better than the GC version but the swordplay is supposedly better on the GC? Can't he just make up his mind.

If he says the Wii version is better, than why is this game rated slightly higher.

Becase GameSpot's scoring components couldn't properly convey that in it's score, or maybe because a rating or two should've been a bit higher on the Wii version.
