Cool.  I honestly would love it.

I'm in denial so I hope it's real.  OoT is my favorite Zelda game....

I really don't think that OoT would make a good DS game. It's too big for a handheld.

I think they have the technology to fit in OoT in a DS cartridge, if that's what you meant.

EDIT: Ah, but why should there be a problem playing a long game handheld? Ever herd of someone playing Pokémon for more than 40 hours?

Not that, it's just... most of its impact wouldn't be suited for a handheld. I mean, could you image fighting monsters on such a tiny screen? That's really the only reason it wouldn't work.

Every part of it look perfectly real (though probably not, I once saw a obviously fake boxart for a Zelda on the 360) except for the Wi-Fi. How would that happen?

If they can put Mario 64 on the DS and then some I know they can put OoT on the DS. PLus a OoT rom is only 24 megabytes, a DS cart can hold 128 mega bytes but they have newer one that have 512 megs!

You have it all wrong^^

OoT was 256 Mb, the max the N64 catridge would support. A DS cartridge was up to 1 Gb at launch, and it might be more now.

I'm not sure you could play a 3D Zelda with a D-pad though...

I'm sceptical as to whether OoT time would be playable on the DS. Now just think for a moment, how big is OoT? Seriously now, it's massive! It takes many week, even months, to complete it on a home console...never mind a handheld. I don't think OoT, or any LoZ game that is a similar size to it, would work on the DS - just seems to big and complex for a handheld.

It would certainly fit on DS. It's just up to Nintendo whether they want to release a port. It would be a great idea though.

... :P Hey, its not my fault my two borthers wouldn't hand it over :D First I watched my cousin and brothers beat it, thus ruining the ending for me, but I would watch the ending a million times and wouldn't get tired of it  Then I played it later on. But hey, at least I beat the game :)

In all seriousness, that would be pretty nifty, the boxart looks rather hawt for something that was Photoshop'd.

There were some questions about controls, and how they would work.

Don't forget that there is a touch screen, for all the c buttons!

Couldn't agree with that any more :) And you could shoot arrows/direct them using your stylus, same for other weapons. It would be like the Wii [you know how its all free-hand?] just put that on a handheld and there you have. it. Remember, Nintendo is full of suprises, and they did make Ocarina of Time perfect didn't they? :P

Yeah, and make three seperate dungeons all on its own. One testing courage, wisdom, and power. Not nessasarily the same as Ocarina of Time, but different in a way that you have to unlock before you face Ganon/Ganondorf.

If Oot was released on a hand held I would end up wasting my batteries just listing to the music all day let alone playing the game.
The box art does look top quality in that screen shot so I would have belived it if it hadn't been for that second screen.

Yeah, OoT just needs to be left alone now. It would be nice to see another Zelda game on the DS that has graphics like OoT and MM did, though, or at least something similar. For Jokul: You ever been to zeldapower.com? Check out the Music they have under their Downloads section.

16GB?

No way is that even possible.

And it probably would be cool for DS owners. I don't have a DS, so I don't really care.

They shouldn't change anything about the game.  The game is perfect the way it is.  I hated Ocarina of Time: Master Quest.  It didn't feel like the same game to me.  If you guys want totally different dungeons play The Master Quest.  Also, I have bene thinking about the Wii as of late, and it's going to be the 10th anniversary of Zelda Ocarina of time (2008).  I was thinking they could make  a DS game or a Wii remade version (same game, graphics etc) but with Wii remote controls.

I think that would be pretty bad ass.

The gameplay is similar in some, make that most, areas of the game...ever wondered why they called it the 'spiritual successor' to OoT?
