Is this game a action Rpg?
I have heard people call it that.
Imo for a game to be a rpg. You need to level up, the screen 95% of the time goes to a nother screen when you fight. And other npcs join you. Zelda has none of this. I personlly beleve it to be a action adventure.
Whats your oppinon

The first time I heard what RPG stood for, I thought most games were RPGs. You usually play the role of some character.
I don't think it it is, that is more like final fantasy isn't it.Link-from-Hell

hard to say, I like to think of it more as an Action/Adventure game, but, i dont mind people calling it Action/RPG
IMO Zelda could be action RPG.
RPG=Role Playing Game...and we are playing as link and a story to save Hyrule.
Yet the term of action/adventure for some reason fits better. And RPG is known for having level ups, many weapons and customization, random or screen encounters which take u to the battle screen. And RPGs can be either real time or turn based.
An action game is where action stands, ex: hack and slash games. EX: Alien Hominid
Adventure, would mean Puzzles, side quests and vast regions...Much like Hyrule.
This are just my opinions.
