Dun dun dunnnn! The mysterious "Operation Nightshade" comming out of nowhere. I bet you are all confused as to what this could be.
Well, this is actually a very simple deal. The Enforcers are now undergoing a huge remodeling. Up untill now, they were a part of 10th squad, and I was using my own squad's ranks to handle the ranks of the Enforcers. But not anymore! The chances of a viable enforcer just happening to land in my squad, are not so great. So limiting the enforcers to my squad only is kind of restrictive.
Well now its doors are open union wide.
However, there is a catch.
You must first quallify.
Before I begin explanation of the signup process, I will explain how the Nightshade Squad work.
First and formost, you do not leave your normal gotei squad in order to join Nightshade. This is very simmilar to the espada and vaizard squads. Instead, you join it while remaining in your normal squad. So, if you already have duties in your own squad, you will need to keep up with both. So be sure that you can handle that before you attempt to sign up.
The Nightshade Squad is very much like the old Enforcers. Your job is to help keep the peace and enforce the rules. But I am going to take this to a new step. You must be well informed of the rules and regulations of both the gamespot TOS and the Soul Society Laws. All of these can be found in the registry.
You however do not posess the authority of an officer. Therefore you must do this while remaining within the bounderies of a normal member. The only officer in this squad will be the Nightshade Captain, as officers are supposed to do this when they can anyway, but they have their own tasks to do, thus why I formed the Enforcers, and now Nightshade. Another officer joining Nightshade would be very pointless. However, they may participate in just about any Nightshade event we have.
Thats right, you read that right. We will have events. What, you thought a cool name and open squad invitation was all I changed? :P
The Nightshade Squad will have special events on occasion. So look out! :P
Now, here is how this thread is going to work. This is the Nightshade OT: As such, the only OT that should be in this thread should be officers and Nightshade members. In order to sign up, you do it in this format:
Name of character(s) you have.
Reason you think you quallify.
How active you think you can be.
That is all you need to put in the post when signing up. I will contact you via PM with the rest of the details. If I am unsure whether you quallify or not, I may test you, and that test may be different depending on the situation. Yes, I'm going to be picky about recruitment, so not just anyone is going to get in, but dont be afraid to try. If you quallify, I'll let you in, and if your told no, no harm was done, so it does not hurt to try.
There will be only 5 ranks for now. If I think there is a good need for growth, I will add more ranks later. Do not ask for a specific rank. You will be assigned a rank I think suits you, or you will be placed for temporary untill I can determine where you fit.
The next post will be edited to stay up to date, including information such as who is under consideration for joining and who is currently in the squad at what rank. After that I will unlock the thread and signups may begin.
