yeah pink flower boy got owned and oppsite that he faced got owned by old man in flat of 1 sec. :| all of us already know old man gonna miss his ban-kai and died which leave to orange superhero kick his ass and everything would be normal and we 'll have few dead and new head of gotei 13 :|Nightmare-_-

There's a problem with that logic. Would he rather fight the bankai or the shikai? You already saw how much damage the shikai can do. He's pretty much like Soi Fon.

I don't think it will, if I recall, one panel has him snatch/destroy the bankai-stealing device that Juha was carrying

Plus, Juha comes across to me as a guy prideful enough that he'd allow the Old Man his bankai in a fight :P

All I know is, this guy must be a serious piece of work if the Old Man brings out his bankai for him, but not for Aizen

Difference is Aizen knew and plan it. See. Aizen knew what he was doing. So whatever flames even though it was in bankai state, WW would take it even if he was destroyed leaving Yamamoto handicap. 

Juha apparently didn't know at all. That's what you get for leaving SS or whatever for a long time. See. If Aizen come back now to fight SS (I doubt he fight against them since the plot with have a twist) SS would be doom and their only hope would be Ichigo and Kisuke.

Also. You have to remember Kyoka Suigetsu was in play. 

All I know is that the Old Man's shikai was as strong as some bankais... so I'm eager to find out how destructive his bankai is :Procketfox129

True but I doubt his bankai strong as some bankais. We don't know Isshin,Kisuke, Yoruichi, or Aizen's bankai. Few deadly rouges.

Now people again say that Yamamoto might be the older version of Ichigo. Not like relative kind of way but the style of bankai.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty certain whatever Urahara's got could probably outmatch it, especially after the not so subtle suggestion from Aizen that Urahara could probably beat him

Though yeah, it does look like an older version of Ichigo's in the sense that, so far, Old Man's bankai seems to have compressed itself into a smaller form rather than expanding it's size.

Old Man Bankai =/= Old Man Sealed State. Only more powerful. :P

jokes aside. it looks like it "returned" to sealed state. appearance wise. its clear that it did NOT do so. it just LOOKS like it. ichigo's does something almost like that. if it had a sheeth, it'd look like a normal sealed state.

Old man also has a looot longer training, so who knows. Its entirely possible that his was origionally a "full-time release" type, but he eventually learned to seal it...and even learned to manipulate its form. (thus giving him the cane/stick form)

I was thinking more along the lines of when Urahara bombarded Aizen with a ton of kido spells, to which Aizen remarks that if he wasn't fused with the Hogyokou, it probably would've killed him. Aizen is on the same, or at least similar level to Yamamoto, so I take that as a suggestion that Urahara has the potential to take him out if it's possible for him to take out Aizen.

hell yeah! mine ban-kai is way better than zillion of pink flower! only thing that bother me... if mine body of 150,000000000 heat temp ban-kai cannot be cut but why I got million of scar on my body :/ I hope they wouldn't share every story for each scar..Nightmare-_-

I wouldn't call that weakness.. since it dried up everything on the earth.. that how bad ass I am. :P but still it would leave just old man alone after ban-kai worn out -_- there is no fun to it.

I'd say yes, even without their bankais, the captains are in their position because they are generally exceptional soul reapers
