We already have a favorite video game soundtrack topic, but what music do you listen to while playing certain games? I'll post the music on a tape that I listen to alot during Halo and N64 games soon. I'll need to find the list

What?! You listen to other music while playing video games?!?!?! Aaah! *dies*RoseFlambe169
lol, yes I do, and it just so happens now this music is full to the brim with great memories. I don't listen to music during all games of course, Oblivion I wouldn't, and Splinter Cell, but some games, it simply does not matter, it is all about enjoymet afterall

Oblivion had some good soundtrack.

I know :PNever play colossus without the music on the game, you don't want to miss it.
bugbag
Yeah I probably wouldn't, I only do it to games that don't require music/story, though Saints Row I listen to my own music, makes it more enjoyable, but during cutscenes I need to turn it down or listen carefully...Â
altoids... oh:| jk:P so any you listen to with a tape or something?:P

i get sidetracked often sorry :(oh look a cloud....*wanders off* :P Â
Nyooo... The music inside the game is part of the game itself. If you're not listening to the music while playing, you're not completely playing the game. Even if the music in a game is bad, that makes it unique and there's something to complain about and/or bear with.RoseFlambe169
I disagree, but I think we'll need to leave it at that :P edit: I figured it out, its like watching a movie, different people simply have different ways of doing this, It annoys me when people talk during a movie, same deal :P

... Fine, but only if you've already played the game or watched the movie. There's no reason to talk if you haven't seen the movie before, and there's no reason to listen to other music if you haven't played the whole game before.
[QUOTE="bob_toeback"]oh cool :P what kind of music?:)altoids007whatever music he has :P
oh:|
@Rose. I personally don't really think there is any time to talk during a movie, I guess if it's a popcorn type thing, like I wouldnt be bothered if someone talked during super hero movies or something I guess. But I really don't think there are universal rules for these types of things. What if I'm playing Teletubbies: The Game, though I'm not sure I would, I just really don't think I would ever need to 'experience it' the 'right' way
Nope. I rather listen to the soundtrack the game provides. But, I do have the Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3 & 4 soundtracks downloaded and the FF Xiii soundtrack downloaded.Uncharted_Baihh
sweet8) I have some of my favorite DKC songs, though they're all good. My favorite being the Stick Brush Symphony
